It's by Damon Albarn. It's an excerpt from the soundtrack to the show he premiered at the Manchester International Festival a year or so ago (it was really good!) called Monkey: The Journey. It's based on the legend of Monkey (the same one the BBC made in the 70's / 80's)
I think it's touring now - if you get the chance to see it, go!
