Why doesnt any of my songs from my iPod music highlight in itunes?

I cant click on, highlight, or play any of the songs directly from my ipod when i plug it into my computer. I can play the songs from my library but not from the iPod. I have some songs that are on my iPod that arnt in my library(computer) so i can only play them on my computer through my iPod but it wont work. Thanks in advance.Why doesnt any of my songs from my iPod music highlight in itunes?
I don't think you can do that with anything but the Shuffle, and even then I think the music has to be in your library (and the Shuffle associated with the library).





You could pull the speakers out of the computer and plug them into the iPod, and play the music that way.Why doesnt any of my songs from my iPod music highlight in itunes?
hey i had the same problem if you have an ipod touch:


1 plug it in


2 click your ipod on the tab on the left


3 go to the ';Summary Tab';


4 turn automatic sync off and click manually maange music and videos
