The Human Highlight Film v.s.Lebron (Similar)?

Ok I've noticed plp on ESPN and even this basketball section comparing Lebron to Jordan????? Ok even as a Jordan fan I don't remember Jordan out-out-muscling his opponents, or ever shooting lower than .790% @ the free-throw line and that was in 2001, Jordan did what Lebron couldn't do ';Shoot';

I'm surprised plp on this website haven't compared Lebron to Dominique Wilkins. (Or else I missed that particular day) Both are pretty much the same in wgt and power but one was a better shooter, @ the free-throw line and perhaps a better clutch player...........Dominique of course. Until then I'm sure Lebron will surpass him in those catagory's soon!!!!

What I'm basically getting at is, would you agree with me that Lebron is like basically like Dominique only with the obvious weaknesses, that will improve as time comesThe Human Highlight Film v.s.Lebron (Similar)?
NO... Wilkins was and is one of a kind. Lebron is also just as unique. There is no player comparison to either one of them. Trying to compare many of these new guys by comparing them to old school players that you only know from highlight films is asinine. It's almost like trying to quantify a force of nature. You don't really know anything about the old school players, because you aren't old enough to have seen their game; those of us who did want to laugh when we hear you try to compare them to someone based on slices of time. It's impossible to do this. ';Nique's'; style was very different from Lebrons, Nique played very smooth and fluid, while Lebron is power personified. Any person who has seen both athletes play would agree with this assessment. So if they agree with me, they can't think that they have a similar style of play.

Old School fans just keeping it real!!!The Human Highlight Film v.s.Lebron (Similar)?
Lebron is alot like Dominique Wilkins in many ways but he is always going to be compared to Jordan no matter how similar they are. Lebron is becoming a better shooter and is a bigtime clutch player. look at his game against Detroit last year in the playoffs. You can't get anymore clutch than that.
No! i think Lebron James is Lebron james, and he will be the greatest to ever play the game

ive never seen a player with his quickness, is size and speed

he is out right scary
dominique is a way better dunker. lebron's dunks are ugly. he looks so stiff.
Wilkins was a one-dimensional player. His stint in Europe was a good fit. I liked him, but he was a scorer only -- not a particularly good defender or leader (how many times did he lead his team to the playoffs?). Lebron is much more of an all-around playey, Wilkens may have been quicker. Lebron is among the league leaders in blocks and steals -- both weaknesses of Wilkens. Wilkens was a moderate rebounder (just over 6 per game), and a poor assist man (just over 2 per game). Lebron is closer to Jordan in these categories -- he will never be Jordan, but as I say, 'closer' -- with career stats of 27.3 pts, 7 rebs, 6.6 asts, 1.8 stls, and 0.8 blks, but his numbers have been higher in all categories the last three years than Wilkins ever had in any one year.
